How we roll
le freddie is a curated vintage webshop: all of the garments on offer have been handpicked by team le freddie. We take great care of our vintage stock: every item is selected, then washed, repaired if necessary and ironed before shipping. Nothing reeks of mothballs – rest assured. If an item has visible flaws that we cannot remove/repair, we will always list those flaws online, in the description-section. For each item, we provide the actual sizing – rather than the size written on the label -, the style, the specifics such as fabric (when retrievable) and brand label. We try to offer a wide array of sizes, but finding bigger sizes remains a struggle, since vintage clothing often comes in tiny sizes. Please know that we are always on the lookout for beautiful items in ALL sizes. Our webshop is regularly updated; we will launch seasonal drops and one-offs (please subscribe to our newsletter to stay in the loop) and we’ll try to inspire you as much as we can. Vintage is our passion, and also our tiny contribution to making this world a more sustainable place. Shopping with us means that you care, too. Thank you for that.
One cardboard box less is always a good idea (although we do use ecological packaging only), so showroom pick ups are possible. Please contact us if you prefer this option through firstname.lastname@example.org. Don’t forget to mention what you’ve bought.
There’s only one
All items on our website are unique – there’s only one. We understand that sometimes, this is frustrating – so we’ll try to help you out where we can. Drop us a note warning us that if the item is returned, you want it. And you can always let us know what it is you’re looking for: maybe we can find it for you. It would be our pleasure.
Customs and sales tax/vat
If your order is placed from an EU country you will have to pay the Belgian sales tax/vat – but no customs fee. This is according to customs policies regarding sales within the EU. If, however, your order is placed outside the EU you may have to pay additional taxes and duties in your country of destination. le freddie is not responsible for these or in fact for any fees charged by customs. The carrier will contact you in case of any extra charges or customs clearance. This might delay the delivery. Please be advised that it’s your responsibility to pay for these extra charges.
